Fluvanna Seniors Can Win Foundation Scholarship for Community Service

The Lake Monticello Community Foundation offers 3 community service scholarships to Fluvanna County HS seniors of $2,000 each. The three scholarships are:

Lake Monticello Resident Award - Given to a senior who is a resident of Lake Monticello planning to attend college.
Fluvanna County Resident Award - Given to a senior who is a resident of Fluvanna County but lives outside the lake planning to attend college.
Career & Technical Education Award - Given to a senior who is a resident of Fluvanna County an plans on attending a technical or trade school

  “The Lake Monticello Community Foundation is looking for a students who engage in meaningful community service and volunteerism over an extended period of time (at least 50 to 200 hours),” said organizer and Foundation board member Scott Mein. “Meaningful is when students pick community service opportunities that are meaningful to them, reflect their passions, where they stay fully committed and can see how they are making a difference over time.”
